Caroline assesses clients’ businesses and circumstances to forecast and prevent crises, to mitigate and resolve active crises,and to encourage rebound of businesses by breaking the repetitive crisis cycle. Resolution may include business conciliation, neutral evaluation or facilitated negotiation. Her goal is to reduce the frequency and costs of transactional disputes, operational crises, personnel conflicts, and litigation. She has particular facility with issues including: intellectual property, employment, executive employment, customer and partner relationships, environment, governance, and real estate.

Whether confronting crisis or developing strategy, clients come to Caroline with complex situational problems and ongoing strategic needs. In addition to the facts and analyses they themselves can provide they need refined research and analysis from a new, objective perspective. She helps clients consider all sides of each problem in order to derive clear choices among best solutions and fast decisions. She partners with her clients to ask the “impertinent” questions necessary for clarity, Clarity at the Highest Levels®.

With experience in deal origination, business model construction and reconstruction, due diligence, and operational guidance, Caroline identifies enterprise opportunity and risk. She has worked with private equity firms in Texas, New York and London. Her experience includes competitive market analysis, intellectual property analysis and prosecution, and regulatory monitoring. On the basis of her own past board leadership and clients’ experiences, Caroline guides strategy, governance and problem solving.
